Eric Stromberg

Eric was born on 2.Feb.1959 in Los Angeles, California. He is the youngest of three. His brother, Richard, is the oldest (He was born in 1956); and his sister, Kirsten, is in the middle (1957). At the age of two, the Stromberg family moved to San Antonio. A year or two later, the family moved to Rochester, New York. Dad was in the Army.
We moved to Rockville, Maryland, where Eric started school. He attended Kindergarten (a german word meaning "children garden"), and grades one and two. The family moved to Silver Spring, Maryland, where Eric attended grade three and the first half of grade four. My dad was transferred to Germany, so we packed up, flew to Germany, and lived on an Army base in Landstuhl from 1967 to 1971. Eric attended the rest of grade four, grade five, grade six, and grade seven in Germany.
Upon returning to the States, Eric attended grades eight through twelve in Silver Spring Maryland. After graduation, in 1976, he received a scholarship to attend the University of Houston in Houston Texas.

Eric graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1982 (While in College, worked as a licensed journeyman electrician, as well as had his own cleaning business. (when i didn't have employees in the cleaning business, i did all the cleaning. When i had employees, i did electrical work)) After graduation, i went to work for a small electronics firm and became a state certified electronic technician, installing and maintaining control panels in high-rise buildings.

Second child, Austin Grant, born in 1988
Started working for Dow Chemical as an Electrical Engineer in 1989
Third child, Brieanna Grace, born in 1992
Moved from Houston to Lake Jackson, directly South of Houston, on the Gulf, in 1999.
Received Professional Engineering license for the State of Texas in 2003.
Started Stromberg Engineering, Inc. in 2005
Celebrated 25th anniversary in 2005
Became a licensed provider of continuing education courses for Electricians in 2006.
(This means that Eric has a license to teach!)
Was appointed to the Electrical Safety and Licensing Advisory Board to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation in 2007.
